OAP was established in Angola, delivering value to the Oil & Gas and Marine industries through hydraulics (hose manufacturing, HPU supply, fluid filtration, condition monitoring, varnish treatment), composite wrapping (supply of systems, on-pipe application, operator training), and equipment services (pumps, motors, choke valves, winch repair, recertification, and subsea insulation).

Our Foundations
A Journey Built on Experience & Execution
That journey was built on the foundations of Ocean Inspection & Maintenance (OIM), Ocean Atlantic International (OAI), and Ocean Atlantic Petroleum (OAP) — businesses rooted in hands-on offshore inspection, conventional NDT, maintenance execution, rope access, workshop-related refurbishment of valves, subsea jumpers and integrity testing, hydraulic hose manufacture, pressure testing, cylinder refurbishment, oil analysis, UAV/ROV-enabled surveys, and specialist technical projects and engineering.
As scope expanded, client expectations evolved. Projects increasingly demanded integrated solutions rather than single-discipline services — combining inspection, access, technology, mechanical resources, engineering, data, and reporting into one dependable interface. Offshore wind, energy transition projects, ports, and heavy industry brought new requirements, new technologies, and a broader operational footprint.
While maintaining strong, proven capability in oil & gas, OIM has evolved in step with the global energy transition.
